Hanging Out With His Holiness the Karmapa
Our school community was blessed to host His Holiness the Karmapa! After graciously giving of himself to students, parents and teachers and asking questions for more than 3 hours he joined us for dinner! I got to share with him some of the work I've been doing to bring mindfulness into my classroom. His Holiness is incredibly curious, funny, and warm when he is at ease and not teaching. I'm grateful for inviting him to my school two years ago and to be continuing my connection with him.
